Popular Caribbean rum is a coconut-flavoured liqueur mostly taken during special occassions. It is made with caribbean sugarcane and pure water then aged to perfection in oak barrels. The ageing takes a period of two years and then the master distillers mix the rum with coconut extracts to produce its Island flavours
